One page per town, written from the houses we actually work in there.
Contact Us for More InfoWe leave Montréal every morning and work mostly on the South Shore, on the island and in the West Island. The core work is the same everywhere — dust-free floor sanding, refinishing, staining, repair and stairs — but the floors themselves change a lot from one town to the next.
A pre-war duplex in Vieux-Longueuil, a 1990s two-storey in Brossard and a recent subdivision in Saint-Constant don’t raise the same questions. Each page below describes what we find in that town’s homes and how we approach it.
Heritage oak and maple in Vieux-Saint-Lambert, restored board by board.
1960s–70s bungalows re-stained, and new solid hardwood in newer homes.
Renovation work: new solid hardwood installed, existing floors sanded to match.
Post-war hardwood under carpet and wax, usually thick enough for a full sand.
Vieux-Longueuil duplexes and Saint-Hubert bungalows, often between tenants.
1980s–2000s floors due for their first full refinish.
Solid or engineered? We check before quoting, then sand what can be sanded.
